This Sunday, we journey with Jesus from the joyful welcome of Zacchaeus to the trembling warnings of Luke 21: 5–19. As the temple’s stones shimmer and the disciples marvel, Jesus speaks of collapse, wars, earthquakes, famine, and persecution. But in the midst of upheaval, he offers a radical promise: you will have the opportunity to testify.
This is not a call to fear, but to faithful presence. When the earth trembles beneath us and we are forced to account for ourselves, Jesus reminds us that our witness matters. Even in the face of betrayal and suffering, God’s Spirit will give us words and wisdom. Come ready to explore how sacredness is redefined, not in what stands firm, but in how we stand faithful. See you Sunday morning, in person or online.
