This week, we will build on last week’s sermon by exploring the second half of the Sermon on the Plain. In this passage, Jesus gives everyone listening some of the most challenging instructions we read anywhere in the gospels: to love our enemies, to turn the other cheek, to withhold judgement, and several other equally challenging instructions for living as people of God. As Teresa reminded us last week, it’s difficult and demanding to be a disciple of Jesus. Join us on Sunday to explore further how to live out these challenging instructions, with help from God’s grace. See you Sunday, in person or online.
