Join us this Sunday, November 5 for a celebration of the “saints” who have helped us grow in faith throughout our lives. We will remeber the lives of Kris Jensen and Martha Ann Wages, and we will have a special opportunity for everyone to reflect on and honor the saints in your own life.
Rev. Teresa will also help us explore ways to be authentic in our faith. Jesus speaks to the crowds and the disciples about the hypocrisy of the Scribes and the Pharisees. They put themselves above others because they know more about the laws of the Torah and they preach what people should do while they themselves do not follow the teachings. Jesus warns us to be authentic in our behaviors and thoughts and to watch out for the hypocrisy of others. You won’t want to miss this sermon, “Do as I say, not as I do,” based on Matthew 23: 1-12. See you Sunday, in person or online!
