How old were you when you first heard John 3:16? “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” It’s perhaps one of the most often-quoted verses from the New Testament — but too many people read it out of context. This Sunday, we will take a look at what Jesus meant in this scripture when he talked about eternal life and perishing, and what we need to take from the larger context of this passage. Rev. Diane will explore these questions and more in a sermon based on John 3: 14 – 21. See you Sunday, in person or online!
