Mark’s quick view of events leads us in six verses to what other gospel writers take chapters to illustrate. Mark’s version sets the stage for the three events in our reading for the day: Jesus’ baptism with its heavenly voice, his temptation in the wilderness, and the beginning of his ministry in Galilee. Join us this Sunday as we explore these three events and the message of Good News that Mark is sharing. Rev. Teresa will preach a sermon entitled “A Message of Good News,” based on Mark 1: 9 – 15. See you Sunday, in person or online!
