As Jesus and his disciples traveled through Jericho, a blind beggar named Bartimaeus called out to Jesus. The crowd tried to silence him, but he persisted. When Jesus asked what he wanted, Bartimaeus asked to see again. Jesus told him, "Your faith has made you well," and Bartimaeus, no longer blind, left everything to follow Jesus to Jerusalem.
