The “great fifty days” of Easter provide an extended season for the church’s celebration of the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. The seven weeks of Easter stand as one-seventh of the length of the year, just as Sunday stands as one-seventh of the week. As we celebrate the season of Easter, be on the lookout for signs of new life in Jesus Christ. This week we see new life in the disbelief of Thomas and his desire to see proof in the living Christ. We face many doubts. Join us Sunday as we find that we too are like Thomas and how we let faith be our strength. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe. Rev.
