This Sunday we will take a look at one of the more challenging stories in the gospels. A rich man came to Jesus, asking how to get into the kingdom of God. Jesus instructed him to sell all of his possessions, give all the money to the poor, and follow Jesus. The man went away grieving because he had too many possessions, and could not give them up. What do we make of this story today? What would you do if Jesus asked you to give up everything? Is it possible that Jesus asks too much? We will explore these and other questions in worship this week. See you Sunday, in person or online!
