You’ve probably heard the story of Joseph and his brothers many times — in VBS or Sunday school, in worship, or even in the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” But did you know the Bible doesn’t say anything about a “coat of many colors?” Have you ever wondered why the brothers were so angry at Joseph that they sold him into slavery? This Sunday, we will take a look at the first part of the Joseph story, and we’ll explore what it may have to tell us about family relationships, good and evil, and God’s intervention in our lives. Diane will be preaching from Genesis 37: 1 – 4 and 12 – 23. (You may also want to read verses 5 – 11, which detail Joseph’s dreams about his family.) See you Sunday, in person or online!
