Wars, racism, poverty, hunger, a long-lasting pandemic. Throughout the ages, the people of God have struggled. It’s hard to see God in our suffering, but Paul’s letter to the Romans reassures us that God is there even in the most difficult of times. On this anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we will reflect on the true hope that we can navigate tough times because nothing can separate us from God’s love. Please read Romans 8: 31-39 in preparation for Sunday worship.
