Acts 9:36-43 tells the story of Tabitha (also called Dorcas), a devoted disciple in Joppa known for her generosity and good work. She falls ill and dies, leading the believers to call for Peter. When he arrives, he finds grieving widows showing him the garments Tabitha had made for them. Peter sends everyone out of the room, prays, and tells her to rise. Miraculously, she opens her eyes and sits up, and Peter presents her alive to the others. This miracle leads many to believe in the Lord.
Join us online or in personthis Sunday as we celebrate strong women on Mother’s Day. Whether mothers, mentors, or caregivers, many women embody Tabitha’s spirit, offering compassion, wisdom, and practical help to others.
